SECTION 4 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 4.1 PORTABLE AIR CONDITIONER INSTALLATION • Find a proper place for the portable air conditioner. Leave at least 20” (50.8cm) space around the unit (Fig. 8). When you use the unit as an air conditioner or a dehumidifier, the hot air must be exhausted out of the room to complete the air exchange of the condenser.
