The computer queries the master drive for the status of both drives. The slave must report its status to the master within a certain time period. Position the drive so that the cables are not strained or crimped. Secure it with four mounting screws not more than 6 full turns (0.20 inches) into the drive frame (see Figure 4). Caution. EZ-Drive allows your computer to access your Seagate drive’s full formatted capacity. It bypasses the BIOS during the boot sequence and uses information it creates on Drive C to identify the drive before DOS is loaded.
