DASH DISASSEMBLY 99-8206 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER 2001-2007 A Disconnect the negative battery 1 terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. 2 Pull and remove dash panel from radio and climate controls. Tip: There are 8 clips. (Figure A) 3 Remove (6) 10mm bolts from radio and climate controls assembly. (Figure B) B Remove assembly and disconnect 4 the wiring. Remove (8) Phillips bolts and (4) Phillips 5 screws to separate brackets from assem- bly. (Figure C) C 2

KIT DISASSEMBLY 99-8206 4 RUNNER BRACKET ASSEMBLY TOYOTA HIGHLANDER BRACKET ASSEMBLY A 1 Snap the appropriately marked Mounting Brackets for your application onto the sides of the Radio Housing. KIT ASSEMBLY 99-8206 ISO DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION A 1 Mount the ISO Brackets to the head unit with the screws supplied with the radio. (Figure A) 2 Snap the radio into the radio housing until the side clips engage. (Figure B) Snap the ISO Trim Plate onto the 3 Radio/Housing assembly. (Figure B) B 5
