Connecting the Drive You can connect this drive to a personal computer using the supplied i.LINK cable. Notes • When you connect, disconnect, or turn on or off the i.LINK device, the personal computer activates bus reset. If bus reset is activated while the personal computer is reading the data, the data might be damaged or lost. Disconnecting the drive from the personal computer No special procedures are needed to disconnect the drive. Simply make sure that no application programs are active and that the drive’s BUSY indicator is not on, and then disconnect the i.LINK cable.
