1 CHAPTER Product Overview 1 Introduction The Avocent LongView® IP KVM extender system, which includes a transmitter and a user station, provides users with a full workstation desktop experience from anywhere on the corporate TCP/IP network, while maintaining the target computers securely housed in a corporate data center. 10 LongView IP KVM Extenders Installer/User Guide Mounting Option The user station for each LongView IP KVM extender system mounts to either the rear of a flat panel monitor via a mounting plate accessory (ordered separately) or is desk-mountable via a mounting kit, also available from Avocent.
