USING YOUR TOASTER Before using, wipe outside of toaster with a damp soapy cloth, and then dry thoroughly. Operate the toaster the first time without any food in the toaster slots and with the browning setting set to the darkest setting. This will eliminate any residual manufacturing oils. Basic 1. CLEANING YOUR TOASTER Note: Failure to clean crumb tray may result in fire hazard. Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is plugged in. 1. Unplug toaster from outlet and allow to cool before cleaning. 2. Slide crumb tray out from under toaster, empty and wipe clean with damp cloth if necessary. Replace the crumb tray.
