TWO SPEED GEAR SHIFT The Model 7751 Hammer-Drill has a two speed gear shift that provides a high speed of approximately 2500 RPM and a low speed of approximately 1000 rpm (with the trigger switch in “Full-On” position). HOW TO USE THE HAMMER-DRILL 1. DRILLING CONCRETE – Use carbide-tipped masonry bits only. Be certain to securely grip the drill in the chuck and to place the mode- selecting knob in the “HAMMER” position. Adjust the depth gauge rod for your desired depth. Start the drill by squeezing the trigger. Place the tip of the bit in contact with the workpiece and apply steady, firm pressure.
