2 MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES 2-3 PRESSURE SETTING When the hydraulic cylinders used in the RJ-88SC, RJ-100SC, RJ-250SC, and RJ- 250VL are fully extended or retracted, they bypass internally. This makes it impossi- ble for the hydraulic system to reach relief pressure. Follow the recommendations below for proper pressure setting. 1. 2 MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES 2-4 RAM CONTROL TIMER ADJUSTMENT Determine the cycle time of your machine. This can be found in the “CHARTS” section of this manual under “TIMER SETTINGS”. Set the timers as shown in the chart. When the switches are properly set, the ram will fully extend, stop for one-half to one second, then fully retract, stop and the unit will shut down.
