UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Remove firebox from carton. 2. Carefully lay unit on it’s back. 3. Remove screws from the left and right side of the front glass lower support. 4. Carefully insert the tip of a slot screwdriver between the glass edge and either the left or right side trim. 5. FIREPLACE INSTALLATION 11. Install the fireplace assembly only into the Dimplex outdoor mantel. OPERATION The fireplace is supplied with an integrated radio frequency on/off remote control. The remote control has a range of approximately 50 feet (15.25m), it does not have to be pointed at the fireplace and can pass through most obstacles (including walls). To operate, push the ON button to turn fireplace on, push the OFF button to turn the fireplace off. This remote does not control the stereo system. FAD BALANCE Press the SEL button four times or twice (EQ Preset Mode) to enter the FAD mode and the screen will display “FAD”.
