2.3 Getting started Assembling the phone Before you can use your phone you need to: Insert the SIM card. Attach and charge the battery. Insert the Memory Stick Duo. Slide the SIM card into its slot under the silvery holder, making sure that the gold contacts of the SIM card are facing down, and the cut-off edge is aligned correctly.
