Using Your Humidifier (continued) Basic Set-Up and Operation ® 1. Remove the Hunter Evaporative Humidifier from its packaging. 2. Place the humidifier on a hard, flat, water resistant surface. Humidifier Maintenance Many regions have hard water with high concentrations of minerals. When water evaporates ® from The Hunter Evaporative Humidifier, minerals may be left behind. These minerals can form a hard white scale which can be removed by following the cleaning instructions.
