FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION FOREWORD Porter-Cable angle grinders are designed for numerous grinding operations. Typical applications are auto body grinding, smoothing welding beads, removing gates and flash from castings, removing rust and the like. ASSEMBLY NOTE: This tool is shipped completely assembled. Assembly time to install HANDLE, WHEEL GUARD and GRINDING WHEEL is required and should take 15 minutes or less. A 4mm hex wrench (supplied) is required to install the WHEEL GUARD. The HANDLE serves

OPERATION TO START AND STOP THE TOOL Make sure that the switch is “OFF” and power circuit voltage is the same as that shown on the specification plate. 1. Connect the tool to the power circuit. 2. MAINTENANCE KEEP TOOL CLEAN Periodically blow out all air passages with dry compressed air. All plastic parts should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth. NEVER use solvents to clean plastic parts. They could possibly dissolve or otherwise damage the material. Wear ANSI Z87.1 safety glasses while using compressed air.
