GA-3.6H Series — INSTALLATION Connecting the Ground The nut and ground terminal on the generators should always be used to connect the generators to a suitable ground. The ground cable should be #8 size wire minimum. At the generator, connect the terminal of the ground cable between the lock washer and the nut (Figure 4) and tighten the nut fully.
