■ Display and standby mode The indicators described below are displayed when the phone is ready for use and no characters have been keyed in by the user. 2. Push the two catches in opposite directions (4), and lift the battery out of the phone (5). 3. Slide the SIM card carefully into the card slot (6). Make sure that the golden connectors on the card are facing downwards and that the bevelled corner is on the left. 4. 5. Insert the two catches of the back cover into the corresponding slots on the phone (8). Charging the battery supplied with the phone may take up to six hours when using the ACP-7 charger. If Not charging is displayed, wait for a while, disconnect the charger, plug it in again and retry. If charging still fails, contact your dealer. 3. When the battery is fully charged, the bar stops scrolling.
