Operating Instructions For Your Safety, Read Safety Precautions And Lighting Instructions Before Operating TURN OFF UNIT: Flip switch to OFF to turn off burners only. If the fireplace is to be turned off for the season, or for servicing, turn the gas shut off valve to OFF. If the unit is going to be serviced, turn off the electrical power to the unit as well. NOTE: When the unit is turned on for the first time, it should be turned onto high, with the fan OFF, for the first two to four hours.

Maintenance And Service Warning: Failure to position the parts in accordance with this manual, or failure to use only parts specifically approved with this appliance, may result in property damage or personal injury. At least once a year, run through the following procedures to ensure the system is clean and working properly. Check the burner to see if all the ports are clear and clean.
