INSTALLATION MANTEL CLEARANCES Because of the extreme heat this fi replace emits, the mantel clearances are critical. Combustible mantel clearances from top of louver opening are shown in the diagram below. Note: A non-combustible mantel may be installed at a lower height if the framing is made of metal studs covered with a non-combustible board. INSTALLATION INSTALLATION RIGID PIPE VENTING SYSTEMS BASIC HORIZONTAL & VERTICAL TERMINATIONS Rigid Pipe Vent Systems offer a complete line of component parts for installation of both horizontal and vertical installations. Many items are offered in decorative black, as well as galvanized fi nish.
