9 Operation Operation HOW TO LIGHT THE FIRE 1. STOP! Read the safety information on the front cover. 2. If using the optional thermostat, set thermostat to High-Low the lowest setting. 3. Turn off electric power to the appliance. 4. Turn the ON-OFF/THERMOSTAT switch to the OFF position. 5. The inlet fitting is 1/2” male flare fitting designed for 1/2” stainless flex pipe. This fitting can be removed to provide 3/8” female pipe thread.
