SAFETY INFORMATION DANGER Electrical Connection A 15-Amp, 120-V olt, 60 Hz circuit with a properly grounded outlet is required. Preferably, the log set will be on a dedicated circuit as other appliances on the same circuit may cause the circuit breaker to trip or the fuse to blow when the heater is in operation. OPERATING INSTRUCTION The log set control functions can be accessed in two (2) ways: • Using the control panel buttons, located on the lower right-hand corner of the log set. • Using the multifunction remote control unit. The log set conveniently features separate controls for flame ef fect and for heater control. OPERATING INSTRUCTION The infrared remote control relies on a line of sight and must be pointed at the controls of the log set to work. The remote control unit has the controls required to turn ON/OFF both the main power and the heater. If you prefer to use the control buttons on the log set unit itself, they are on the lower right corner of the unit. CARE AND MAINTENANCE Before attempting ANY maintenance: 1. Turn off power to the unit. 2. Unplug the power cord from outlet. 3. Let log set cool if it has been operating. Maintenance of Motors: Always disconnect the appliance from the main power supply and allow it to cool before any servicing operation.
