Before discarding packaging material, be certain that all parts have been removed. CROSSBAR MOUNTING BRACKET INSTALLATION CEILING FAN Proceed with installation as follows: APPROVED Step 1. Route the wires from the ceiling outlet box through OUTLET BOX the crossbar mounting bracket center hole. INSTALLING THE BLADE/BLADE HOLDER TO FAN MOTOR PREPARATION Step 8. To reach the blade holder mounting holes in the fan motor the dummy switch housing must be removed. 9 Take out the two 5-32 X /32” screws secur- ing the dummy switch housing and remove. Set the two (2) screws aside for the mo- ment, they will be used in Step 12 to install the switch housing after the blades are in- stalled. BRESCIA (GALLERY EDITION) REMOVE SHIPPING BLOCKS Step 10. On the flywheel remove the four SHIPPING shipping blocks by unscrewing the screws. BLOCKS Discard the shipping blocks and shipping block screws. BLADE/BLADE HOLDER INSTALLATION Step 11. Using the screws from the pack, attach each blade/blade holder assembly to the motor. Using the screwdriver, tighten securely by hand only. BLADE HOLDER Your Brescia fan is equipped with a fly- SCREWS wheel that allows for both 4 and 5 blade installation.

INSTALL SWITCH HOUSING ASSEMBLY TO LIGHT FIXTURE Step 14. Thread the wires from the light fixture through the center hole of the switch housing as- sembly. Then attach the ceiling fan wires to the light fixture wires by placing the bare ends of the wires together and securing with a wire nut. Lift the light fixture to the switch housing, run- ning the cap screws through the key holes. CAUTION! Make sure you feed extra wire from the light fixture through the center hole of the switch housing to avoid pinched wires. NO LIGHT KIT INSTALLATION NOTE: THE FOLLOWING STEPS ARE TO BE PERFORMED ONLY IF YOU ARE NOT SWITCH INSTALLING THE LIGHT KIT! HOUSING Step A1. R INTELI•TOUCH OPERATION POWER The button is normally left in the on position. Always turn the power off during cleaning or servicing the fan and during thunderstorms. It is also used to exit or enter additional programs. POWER must be left on to retain a previously set fan speed or light level.
