Clinical Use Only Disinfecting/Sterilizing the Mask or Nasal Pillows System between Patients This Disinfection/Sterilization Guide is intended for multipatient use of the mask/nasal pillows* system in a sleep lab, clinic or hospital environment. Clinical Use Only After disassembly, thoroughly disinfect or sterilize the mask components by following the procedure for one of these methods: • Chemical Disinfection • Thermal Disinfection ™ • STERRAD Sterilization. Option 1: Chemical Disinfection Pre-disinfection 1 Disassemble the mask. 2 Clean the individual parts of the mask with a soft bristle brush for one ™ ™ minute while soaking them in detergent (eg, Aniosyme DDI or Alconox ). Pay particular attention to all crevices and cavities.
