CAUTION Do not alter the baffle, the nozzle in the medication cup or any part of the nebulizer kit. 6. Add the correct amount of prescribed medication to the medication cup. NOTE: Mouthpiece and Nosepiece Place the cap on the medication cup when using the mouthpiece or nosepiece. Using the cap with the mouthpiece or the nosepiece will reduce the amount of medication that is discharged into the air. If your physician or respiratory therapist specifies a different cleaning procedure follow their instructions. If the air filter appears dirty, or if water or medication has spilled on the air filter replace with a new air filter immediately. 1.
