Remove any descriptive labels that may be found on either the front or top cabinet of the unit. Do not remove any labels located on either the back or bottom cabinet of the unit. Four (4) “AA” cell batteries are necessary to retain the current settings of the AM/FM tuner and clock. When fresh batteries are installed, the clock, preset radio stations, current band and the selected radio station are retained even if the power is disconnected. Insert as in the figure below.
