Remove the Throttle Shaft nut and lock washer from the throttle shaft. Install the Throttle -
Lever Bracket on the throttle shaft; Reinstall the lock washer and nut, and torque the nut
to 60-72 In/Lbs (5-6) Ft./Lbs).

Loosen the accelerator cable jam nut. Loosen only the rear jam nut as shown in Fig ( 4 & 5 }.
Install the Cable Bracket between the accelerator bracket and the jam nut
previously loosened. Retighten jam nut ensuring that Cable Bracket is held securely in place.

7. Make sure the throttle is not being held open by the Cruise Control Module Cable. To achieve proper slack dimensions, remove the Snap-In adapter from the Cable Bracket Turn the Snap-In adapter to adjust the slack.Snap-In th.e adapter back into the Cable Bracket. You must have 0.050"-0.060" slack at engine idling position.
