You should drive in a moderate fashion (avoid heavy acceleration and deceleration) and have your vehicle serviced at the first available opportunity. The light also illuminates when the battery is not charging properly, requiring electrical system service. Engine oil pressure (if equipped) Illuminates when the oil pressure falls below the normal range. Stop the vehicle as soon as safely possible and switch off the engine immediately.
