DASH DISASSEMBLY 99-7316 2000-2005 HYUNDAI XG300/XG350 A 1 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. 2 Unclip and remove entire panel sur- rounding radio and climate controls including pocket assembly at bottom of panel. (Figure A) 3 Remove (4) Phillips screws per side B to remove radio and climate control. Note: It is not necessary to discon- nect climate control. (Figure B) 1

KIT ASSEMBLY 99-7316 DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION A 1 Slide the DIN cage into the Radio Housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down. (Figure A) 2 Slide the aftermarket head unit into the cage and secure. (Figure B) B 2

99-7316 KIT ASSEMBLY ISO DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION A 1 Mount the ISO Brackets to the head unit with the screws supplied with the unit. (Figure A) 2 Slide the head unit into the radio opening until the side clips engage. (Figure B) Snap the Trim plate into the Radio 3 Housing. (Figure B) B 3

KIT ASSEMBLY 99-7316 FINAL ASSEMBLY Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash and make the connection as shown. 1 Metra recomends using the proper mating adapter and making the connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.)
