OPERATION Controls The hood is operated using the (4) push- buttons located at eye-level, on the front edge of the hood. LIGHT DISPLAY SWITCH RESET The light switch turns the halogen lights SWITCH on and off. Push the light switch once to TIMER SWITCH turn the lights ON - push a second time to BLOWER turn the lights ON to a brighter level - push a SWITCH third time to turn the lights OFF. HALOGEN BULBS This range hood requires two halogen bulbs (Type T4, 12V, 20W). ALWAYS SWITCH OFF THE ELECTRICAL SUPPLY BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY OPERATIONS ON THE APPLIANCE. To change bulbs: 1. MAINTENANCE Proper maintenance of the Range Hood will assure proper performance of the unit. Grease Filters Grease filters should be cleaned when the light switch flashes or remains lit when the blower is off (i.e. 30 hours of operation). Use a warm detergent solution to clean filters. Filters are dishwasher safe. See page 14 for GREASE FILTERS filter removal and installation instructions. PREPARE THE HOOD 6” DIAMETER Note: On stainless steel hoods, carefully DUCT remove the plastic protective film from all exterior surfaces of the hood and decorative flues, prior to final installation.
