MACHINE CONTROLS MAIN BROOM LIFT LEVER - See Figure 5 MAIN BROOM The main broom lift lever is located on the right side next to LIFT LEVER the driver’s seat. To lower the main broom, grasp the lever, move it to the left to clear the locking notch and pull back to the first or second notch. The first notch is the “Sweep” position, which is used for normal sweeping conditions, and MAIN BROOM will result in longer broom life. The second notch is the OFF “Float” position and is used when sweeping

SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS 2 4 1 3 C0477a FIGURE 11 MAIN BROOM SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS TO CHECK THE MAIN BROOM SWEEP PATTERN Check the main broom sweep pattern after changing the broom or when poor sweeping performance is encountered while sweeping. 1. While the machine is not moving, lower the main broom to the SWEEP position and let machine sweep in one spot for a short period. 2. Before moving machine, move main broom lever to the OFF position and move the sweeper forward until you can see the pattern
