Using Your Radio Operation Remove Belt Clip Batteries • To Install or Replace Batteries: 1. Remove belt clip by releasing belt clip latch and sliding clip up. 2. Pull up on the Battery Door Latch to remove the Pull Up Lock Tab battery compartment cover. 3. Insert four (4) AAA batteries. (Always use high quality alkaline batteries.) Using Your Radio Operation Communicating with Another Person Talk Button • To Talk To Another Person: 1. Press and hold the Talk button. 2. With the microphone about five (5) centimeters (2 inches) from your mouth, speak in a normal voice. 5 cm (2 inches) 3.
