PERFORMANCE Your transceiver will achieve its maximum operating range when communi- cating with other transceivers in a flat open area with no trees or buildings obstructing its signal. BATTERY INSTALLATION BELT CLIP Your FR-531 requires four AAA alkaline or four EMBOSSED RELEASE ARROW rechargeable AAA cells. Alkaline batteries will LATCH provide the best performance from your trans- ceiver.
