Connections & Setup Initial Setup The first time you turn on your TV/VCR, you’ll be asked to set a few screens so that your TV/VCR will be set up correctly. Connections & Setup TIME Setting the Clock TIMER The TV/VCR has an automatic clock setting feature that automatically sets the CLOCK SET time from an EDS (Extended Data Service) channel when the power is turned off. If there is no EDS channel, the signal is weak, or you don’t want to wait for CLOCK SET the time to be downloaded to the TV, you can set the clock manually AUTO CLOCK ON (instructions are on page 35).
