OPERATION EDGER GUIDE OPERATION - TRIM ‘N EDGE ONLY See Figures 12 - 13. WING NUT n Loosen the wing nut and slide the edger guide to adjust it to the desired trimming length then retighten the wing nut securely. MAINTENANCE To install the spool retainer: SPOOL Turn the spool retainer clockwise for Trimlite and Trim ’n SPRING Edge. Turn the spool retainer counterclockwise for Easy ARROWS ON Reach. For proper performance and long life, keep air filter clean. n Remove the air filter cover by pushing down on the latch with your thumb while gently pulling on the cover. n Remove the filter, clean it in warm soapy water.
