Connections & Set Up Installing the Conference Speakerphone Choose the best location to install your console. Connections & Set Up Set Up 1. When the unit is in READY mode, press the MENU/OK button to display the program set up menu. 2. Press the or button to scroll through the set up menu selections. They are as follows: RINGER VOLUME (off, low, middle, high) The default setting is middle. RINGER TYPE (1 / 2 / 3 / 4) The default setting is type 1. HOLD REMINDER TIME (Off / 15 / 30 / 45 / 60 sec) The default setting is 30 sec. FLASH TIME Programming (100 / 200 / 300 / 400 / 500 / 600 / 700 / 800 / 9

Connections & Set Up Ringer Type You may select one of four ringer tones for incoming calls. The default ringer is type 1. 1. In standby mode, press the MENU/OK button to go to program setup. Conference Speakerphone Operation Pause Note: The Pause function is activated ONLY in the Directory programming mode and the unit treats PAUSES as delays or spaces in the dialing sequence. When in directory programming mode, press the REDIAL/PAUSE button to insert a two-second delay in dialing sequence (of a stored telephone number) when a pause is needed to wait for a dial tone (for example, after you dial 9 for an outside line, or to wait for a computer access tone.)
