Front and Rear Panels Description of Hardware 1000BASE-T Ports These ports are RJ-45 ports that operate at 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps and 1000 Mbps, full and half duplex. The ports can be connected to other IEEE 802.3ab 1000BASE-T compliant devices up to 100 m (328 ft.) away using Category 5 twisted-pair cable. Each port also supports the IEEE 802.3x auto-negotiation of flow control, so the switch can automatically prevent port buffers becoming saturated. GB
