When the switch receives power, the Power LED should remain solid Green. 2.2.2 Rack Mounting To install the switch in a 19-inch standard rack, please follows the instructions described below. Step1: Place the switch on a hard flat surface, with the front panel positioned towards the front side. 3. CONSOLE MANAGEMENT 3.1 Connecting to the Switch The console port is a female DB-9 connector that enables a connection to a PC or terminal for monitoring and configuring the Switch. Use the supplied RS-232 cable with a male DB-9 connector to connect a terminal or PC to the Console port.
