Basic Operation Manual Switching There are two convenient methods to access the computers: Manual – pressing the port selection pushbuttons located on the unit’s front panel. Hotkey – entering key combinations from the keyboard. Hotkey port selection is discussed in the next chapter. Port ID Numbering Each CPU port on the GCS1204 is assigned a port number (1, 2, 3, or 4). Auto Scanning The GCS1204’s Auto Scan feature automatically cycles KVM focus through the computer ports at regular intervals.
