Chapter 2 HiSpeed Switch What is the HiSpeed Switch? The HiSpeed switch is a multiprotocol, Fast Ethernet workgroup switch than can be configured for up to 32 10/100 Mbps LAN switch ports, depending on the model. The HiSpeed switch maximizes performance in existing shared media LANs by allowing up to 32 separate collision domains on a per port basis.
