Foundry FastIron LS Layer 2 Compact Switch Hardware Installation Guide 10 Gigabit Ethernet Module Slots These switches include two slots on the rear panel for single-port 10GBASE uplink modules with XFP transceivers, and a single port CX4 module. The 10GBASE transceivers operate at 10 Gbps full duplex with support for asymmetric flow control (that is, the port honors incoming pause frames, but does not originate pause frames). 10 Gbps CX4 Ports This section describes the 10-GbE CX4 module. 10
