Installation About this Manual This manual contains installation, confi guration, and operating information for the Extron family of full-function, very large CrossPoint 450 Plus ultra-wideband and MAV Plus 3248 through 6464 video and audio matrix switchers. Installation Mounting the Switcher The matrix switcher BMEs are housed in rack-mountable, 6U (sync and video BMEs) or 7U (audio BMEs) high metal enclosures with 19" rack ears. If desired, rack mount the switcher BME as follows: 1. Insert the switcher BME into the rack, aligning the holes in the mounting bracket with those in the rack. 2. Secure the switcher BME to the rack using the supplied bolts. Rear Panel Views All connectors for all switcher BMEs are on the rear panel. Figure 2-1 shows
