Chapter 1 Introduction The AT-FH800 Series Fast Ethernet Hubs include the following models: ! AT-FH812u ! AT-FH812u-SW ! AT-FH824u ! AT-FH824u-SW The AT-FH812u (shown in Figure 1) and AT-FH824u are manageable and stackable Ethernet hubs with 12 or 24 dual-speed (RJ-45) ports. Introduction These dual-speed hubs include a wide range of configuration options. They can be stacked together (up to 6 high) to form a dual-speed network of up to 72/144 ports. Installation Stacking Hubs on The hub can be stacked on a secure table or desktop. a Flat Surface 1. Attach the self-adhesive rubber foot pads (that come with this package) on each of the 4 concave spaces located on the bottom of the first hub. 2. Place the first hub on a firm flat surface where you want to install the stack. 3. Repeat Step 1 for each hub before stacking them. AT-FH800 Series Installation Guide Using an Optional The upper slot on the front of the hub is provided for installing anyone of the 3 different Switch Modules or Media Expansion Modules (also referred to as an Module uplink module).
