PREPARATION FOR USE (CONTINUED) BATTERY OPERATION FOR REMOTE The battery compartment is located on the bottom of the remote control. • Remove the battery compartment door by pushing the tab to the left (arrow 1) and then pulling the battery compartment down (arrow 2). See figure 1. • Insert a CR2025 button-type battery with the “+” facing up. If the battery is inserted 1 incorrectly, the remote control will not operate. C B L E E N A CARE AND MAINTENANCE Caring for Compact Discs • Treat the compact disc carefully. Handle the compact disc only by its edges. Never allow your fingers to come in contact with the shiny, unprinted side of the compact disc. • Do not attach adhesive tape, stickers, etc. to the compact disc label. • Clean the compact disc periodically with a soft, lint-free, dry cloth.
