Connecting Your Equipment Connecting DVD 7.1 Channel (5.1 ch for VSX-D710S) Components DVD and LD discs are compatible with both 2 channel and 7.1 channel audio output formats. Connections can be made from a DVD player/multi-channel decoder equipped with 7.1 analog outputs to the 6.1 analog inputs on this unit (the surround back channel is mono on the VSX-D810S/D850S models so we refer to it as 6.1 ch).
