Preparation Thank you for purchasing the Nikon High-performance Battery Pack SD-9. The SD-9 is an external power source for the Nikon Speedlight SB-900. You can install four or eight AA-type batteries in the SD-9 to ensure a stable power supply for the SB-900, and can get a greatly increased number of flashes and a shortened recycling time. ■ Attach the SD-9 to the camera Insert the supplied camera attach screw to the SD-9’s tripod socket.
