Preparing documents • A batch of documents to be fed into the scanner must be arranged so that the leading edges of all documents are aligned and centered under the for scanning automatic document feeder. Making connections Follow the instructions for installing the IEEE-1394 (FireWire) card and the Kodak Driver Software before you plug the scanner into the host computer. Input and output trays The input and output trays snap into place. They also may be adjusted to fit different document sizes.
