Safety Instructions Radar Tank Gauge 1 Safety Instructions 1.1 Designated use The Varec Model 7532 Radar Tank Gauge (RTG) is a compact radar level transmitter for the continuous, contactless measurement of liquids, pastes and sludge in stilling wells. The device can also be freely mounted outside closed metal vessels because of its operating frequency of about 6 GHz and a maximum radiated pulsed energy of 1mW (average power output 1 µW).
