Chapter 1 Cancel a scan in progress To cancel a scan during processing, or to cancel a series of scans when the ADF is being used, either: ● Use the Cancel button ( ). ● Click the Cancel button on the progress dialog box that is displayed during the scan. English How to scan from the 3 transparent materials adapter (TMA) Use the transparent materials adapter (TMA) to scan 35 mm slides or negatives. Tips for scanning transparent items ● To scan items larger than those that the TMA accepts, place the transparency on the scanner glass, place a white sheet of paper on top of the transparency, and then scan as usual. ● When scanning a 35 mm slide or negative, the scanner software automatically enlarges the image to approximately 10 cm x 15
