Installation 2.1 Choosing the Best Location • Since the TracVision antenna requires a clear view of the southern sky to receive satellite signals, the ideal antenna site has an unobstructed view of the horizon/satellite all around. • Keep the antenna clear of any obstructions on the roof (e.g., air conditioners). Installation 2.3.1 Connecting the Antenna Data/Power Cable 1. Connect one end of the antenna data/power cable to the antenna’s data/power connector and lock in place (see Figure 2-10).
