GAS LOCKOUT/TAGOUT The Gas Lockout/Tagout procedure is used to protect personnel working on a gas appliance. Before performing any maintenance or service that requires gas disconnections, follow these steps: WARNING: All gas joints disturbed during servicing must be checked for leaks.
