You can use any combination of HDMI, DisplayPort or DVI. Powering On/Off Planar UltraRes Displays Planar UltraRes in Standby Mode If you are unsure about whether or not the display is on but in standby mode, look for the small Standby LED. If it is off, you will not see the LED. If it is on but in Standby mode, you will see a red LED. As the display starts, the LED blinks until it is on. Once it is on, the LED turns off.
