Switching On the Projection TV and Automatically Tuning The first time you switch on your TV, a sequence of menu screens appear on the TV enabling you to choose the language of the menu screen and search and store all available channels (TV Broadcast). Adjusting Colour Registration (Convergence) Due to the earth’s magnetism, the picture might become undefined and you could see different colours on the outlines of the images. Selecting Digital or Analogue mode Press the DIGITAL/ button on the remote control to switch between Digital and Analogue mode. To check if you are watching a Digital or Analogue mode press the button. If you are watching a digital programme a banner will appear momentarily at the top of the screen. The Programme Index table The “Programme Index table” is only available in Analogue mode. The ”Programme Index table” is a quick and easy way to search for a channel (TV Broadcast) you wish to view.

Introducing and Using the different Menu systems Your projection TV uses an On-Screen Display menu system to guide you through the operations. This projection TV has 2 different Menu Systems as follows: a) "General TV Menus" This menu system is available when watching both, Digital and Analogue channels. The displays of this menu system will help you to alter the picture settings, sound settings etc. For more details, please refer to the relevant sections of the chapter "The General TV Menus"

AV PRESET This option allows you to designate a name to the external equipment you have connected to the input sockets of this projection TV. To do this: 1 Once you have entered into the “Set Up”menu as it is explained in the previous page and after selecting the option, press b, then press v or V to select the input source you wish to name (AV1, and AV2 are for the rear Scarts and AV3 for side connectors).
