Safety notes Your DocuPrint C6 has been carefully designed to give you years of safe, reliable performance. As with all electrical equipment, however, there are a few basic precautions you should take to avoid hurting yourself or damaging the unit. 1. If you are using an extension cord or power strip with the printer, make sure that the total of the amperes required by all of the equipment on the extension is less than the extension’s rating. Generally, the total ratings of all equipment plugged into any one power line should not exceed 15 amperes. Control Panel Operation The DocuPrint C6 control panel has one button and one light (LED). The Printer Control (green) button controls printer functions. The one LED light displays the condition of the printer. Normal Printer Operation LED Off With the LED light off, these operations can be performed: • To center the print head so you can replace a print cartridge – Press and hold the Printer Control button for at least 2 seconds. Printer Error Conditions LED Blinking Constantly (0.5 sec On, 0.5 sec Off) A constantly blinking LED can indicate the following: • Low ink condition – Press and release the Printer Control button to center the print head.
